Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 July 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Broom for use of broomit.net, the Broom platform, the Friday assistant and the Broom browser extension (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you are using Broom for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept on its behalf.

Who we are

Broom is operated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact: youssef@broomit.net.

Your account

You must be 18 or older. Keep your login credentials to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. One account is for one person or organisation; do not resell access.

What you may not do

  • Break the law, or use Broom to harm, harass, deceive or impersonate anyone.
  • Send spam or bulk unsolicited messages.
  • Upload malware, or try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • Attempt to reach other customers' data, or bypass usage limits, approval steps or security controls.
  • Point Friday's browser control at systems you do not own or have permission to use.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product from our outputs at scale.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why where we can.

Your content

You own what you put in and what Friday produces for you. You grant us only the permission needed to run the Service for you: to store your content, and to send it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy so they can generate a response. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train our own models. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.

AI output — read this one

Friday and your agents are AI. They can be wrong, and they can be confidently wrong. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for checking anything that matters before you rely on it, send it, or act on it. Nothing Broom produces is legal, financial, tax, medical or other professional advice.

Automated features — agents, routines, scheduled runs and browser control — act on your instruction. Outbound and destructive actions ask for your approval by default; if you turn that down or grant broader autonomy, the resulting actions are still yours. Review what you are authorising.

Connected accounts

When you connect Google, Notion or another tool you authorise us to access it on your behalf, within the permissions you grant. You can disconnect at any time. Your use of those services stays governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Plans, credits and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider. Usage is metered in credits; your plan sets a monthly allowance and spending caps, which we enforce. If you run out you can top up or upgrade — we would rather stop the work than surprise you with a bill.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time and you keep access to the end of the period you paid for. Except where the law gives you a refund right, payments are non-refundable — but if the Service failed you, email us and we will look at it properly rather than hide behind this line.

We may change prices. Existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice before a change affects them.

Availability

We work to keep Broom running but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We depend on third parties — AI providers, hosting, the tools you connect — and their outages become ours. We may change or retire features; if we retire something you rely on, we will give reasonable notice.

Beta features

Features marked beta, preview or coming soon are exactly that: they may change, break, or disappear. Do not build anything critical on them.

Liability

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or lost business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms, for non-payment, or if required by law. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data afterwards; export anything you want to keep first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Broom after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, except where consumer law in your country gives you the right to your own courts.

Privacy Policy

We do your dirty work.
